Last week a Russian newspaper reported homosexual men started disappearing from the streets of Chechnya.
More than 100 men are reported to have been arrested or detained, and at least three are reported to have been killed.
Chechen authorities and Vladimir Putin have denied the reports, but LGBTQI activists are adamant persecution is occurring in Russia.
