According to the Government of SA Office for women, women experiencing menopause are the fastest-growing working demographic up nearly 40 per cent since 1980.

The Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (AIST) estimated in 2022 that menopause costs women between $17 and $35 billion annually in lost earnings and superannuation.

Debilitating symptoms can impact the financial contributions of women.

Many organisations in Australia have received the Menopause Friendly Accreditation, an organisation that aims to support menopause at work.
