The Community Radio Sector lost one of its highest rated programs earlier this year after giving voice to regional and remote towns across the Murray-Darling Basin.

WaterWatch was a weekly program broadcast out of 2DRYfm in Broken Hill and across the network, covering everything water in the years following a number of significant fish kills near Menindee.

After three years, 100 programs, and a Walkley award nomination, the program stopped production in July.

Noah Secomb spoke with Megan Williams, one of the former hosts of Water Watch, to reflect on the impact of the program.
