Nurses from Philippines face challenges migrating to Australia

The Filipino community is the fifth largest migrant group in Australia, according to the Department of Home Affairs.

But also around 6 per cent of all nurses in Australia were trained in the Philippines.

The country encourages this exodus to a point and connects the nurses with support, but for some it’s tough and challenging,
