Former Grayndler Greens candidate Hannah Thomas was among 60 pro-Palestinian activists protesting outside a Belmore facility on Friday June 27th.

An altercation with officers during her arrest has left Thomas likely blind in one eye in what NSW Police now describe as a “critical incident”.

Assistant Commissioner Brett McFaddon confirmed on Monday afternoon Thomas’ emergency anti-riot charges are being dropped.

Marlena Holdernesse asked Greens MP and Spokesperson for Justice Sue Higginson what this means amidst the ongoing review.
