This week, a new Aboriginal Business Taskforce was launched in New South Wales by David Harris, the Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and Treaty.

It marks the next step to close the gap and improve outcomes for First Nations communities, through fostering the economic independence and prosperity of Aboriginal people.

The taskforce group will advise the state government about how to continue supporting First Nations businesses, which are 100% more likely to employ other First Nations people than non-First Nations businesses.
