Catholic Church denies silencing victims

The Catholic Church has come under fire today from Victoria Police. In their submission to the Victorian Parliament Inquiry into the Handling of Child Abuse by Religious and Other Organisations, the police accuse the Church of dissuading victims from making a complaint to police by offering compensation.
