Australia's carbon pricing scheme now looks completely different to when it was introduced, after Parliament voted to remove the Price Floor on carbon.
Today, Parliament passed amendments to the Clean Energy Future legislation, effectively scrapping the price floor for Carbon. The changes were intended to align our carbon pricing scheme with the emissions trading scheme of the European Union. But what implications do they have on our climate reduction targets?
