Today is the start of Dementia Awareness week and also World Alzheimer's Day, with events aimed at getting everyone thinking about brain health. Imagine yourself going through your daily routine, then all of a sudden, you start forgetting what you have already done. Then, you start forgetting your friends names, your family members, or even where your live.
Dementia is used to describe the symptoms of a large group of illnesses which cause a progressive decline in a person’s functioning, according to Alzheimer's Australia.
