The Queensland government is once again under scrutiny. Police Minister Jack Dempsey has announced a new expert panel which will help to cut the red tape for obtaining guns. One of the aims of the Ministerial Weapons Advisory Council is to cut the red tape of getting a firearm in the Sunshine State, creating more access to guns.
In addition, the Council will be managed by the gun industry, excluding the community sector. (Photo by mr.smashy on Flickr)
