The University of Melbourne released a report today revealing Australian doctors would want a significant pay incentive to work in rural and remote practices. But the report may not consider all the challenges doctors face in remote postings.
Almost 4000 doctors participated in the report that found that the majority of doctors surveyed would require at least a $116,000 pay increase before moving to a remote area practice. But are pay worries the only issue at hand?
