Australians and New Zealanders are officially the biggest recreational drug users, according to a new United Nations report. The UN found that our use of every drug except heroin, was much higher than the global average. The 2012 United Nations World Drug Report has named and shamed Australia as the worst drug users. But the National Drug Research Institute has its doubts. Director Professor Steve Allsop says the results may come down to the accuracy of each country's data, and the fact that Australian people are more open about their drug use.
