Protests in Egypt continue despite promise of elections

Egyptian military leader Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi announced this morning Australian time that parliamentary elections will be held next week, and presidential elections would be brought forward to next year.

But the announcement has not silenced the protesters.
