The Wire

The cane toad is now a well-established blight on our landscape, and the poisonous creature is continuing its march across Australia. With populations already spread throughout Queensland, the Northern Territory and parts of Western Australia the cane toad is now encroaching on New South Wales, with South Australia on alert. However, there is some promising work being done to help stop the invasion of this pest.
