The coalition has pledged 10 million dollars to save community TV. The money would go to the 5 capital city TV stations to help them make the transition to digital broadcasting and stop the current viewer exodus from their stations. Community broadcasters say the pledge will force the federal government to act on what they say is a long overdue plan for their survival.
