The mainstream media might be quiet on the issue at the moment but for many living in the Northern Territory, the Federal Government emergency response is still a daily reality. Up and coming Melbourne hip hop outfit, the Yung Warriors, experienced this first-hand in Alice Springs last weekend when they were there to perform at a festival. And activists in the Springs are mobilising for a rally and protest to coincide with the handing down of findings from a 12 month intervention review. Interview with Yung Warriors manager, Rich Micallaf; Intervention Rollback Action Group activists Barbara Shaw and Paddy Gibson.

The aim is to subvert public spaces that are reserved for cars and turn them into fun spaces for the public.
